I remember our first meeting at Temple's Main Campus during freshman year. A year later, in our sophomore year, we became roommates with two others. You were outgoing, always able to make even the quietest room come alive. We shared problems with each other that we couldn't share with anyone else, not even our families, because we understood each other so well. You were the kind of friend who would help at a moment's notice, without hesitation.
It saddens me deeply that our time together has been cut short. I hope you can rest in peace, knowing that your family is strong, deeply loved, and surrounded by support. Like you, I will not hesitate to help your family in any way I can.
They say nothing in life is guaranteed, but they overlook the fact that our friendship is already etched in stone-guaranteed to last forever. Rest in peace, my friend.
